Here at Osprey we feel that effective Project Management can only be achieved in conjunction with effective Project Leadership. Accountability and responsibility are significant factors in the success of projects Osprey personnel have undertaken, and we take pride in both being accountable and accepting responsibility. Working alongside our clients is of paramount importance during all phases of a project. Osprey personnel are able to engage with clients at all levels of the organisation. The ability to understand the commercial and business drivers in addition to the technology issues gives Osprey the edge.
Project definition and its deliverables, both business and technical, lie at the core of an assignment. Ensuring that the tangible benefits can be quantified, and are achievable, are all part of the services offered by Osprey. Having the vision for and articulating the potential intangible benefits of a project enable our clients to leverage the extensive experience and expertise of the personnel assigned to it. In addition the depth and breadth of experience of Osprey as an organisation is at the disposal of our personnel, and therefore the client, throughout the life of the project, and beyond.
Detailed project planning creates the framework on which all aspects of any project will reside. Osprey personnel have the industry expertise to ensure that all parts of the plan are covered in detail. They ensure that all stakeholders of the project, both within the client organisation and in some cases externally, have significant involvement in the planning phase and have bought into the project. It is only then that the project plan is agreed and signed off by all parties.
Continuous and effective management of a project is the key to the efficient execution of it. But at Osprey we strive to exceed this by ensuring our personnel provide Project Leadership, not just Management. Reviewing all aspects of a project during the execution phase and communicating with the stakeholders on a regular basis is all part of the role of the Project Manager. Here at Osprey our personnel are all highly experienced in the execution of technically complex and commercially driven projects.
The final project review is an important and integral part of any assignment we undertake. Learning from and adapting to the issues that occurred during the project execution is an area so often overlooked. Assessing if the original project deliverables and benefits have been met, and if not, understanding why and then communicating the reasons to the stakeholders is a significant part of the project assignment for us at Osprey.
